If you thought the first season was good, wait until you see what’s in store for you this season on the popular teen drama. Fans of “The Niner” will remember that Season One ended with Brenda worried about a possible pregnancy; that storyline is resolved in the season premiere. Season Two was unique in the sense that the summer episodes actually ran during the summer while all other shows were in reruns. Brandon ditches his job at the Peach Pit and gets a job as a cabana boy at the beach club all his friends seem to belong to. Meanwhile, Dylan and Brenda are still having their difficulties making it work, and Dylan’s father being arrested doesn’t help the situation at all. Most memorable of all the episodes this season though is “The Next 50 Years,” in which long time cast member Scott manages to shoot himself in the head playing with his father’s gun, sending David into a deep depression. Long time fans will also note that this season sees the introduction of Brandon flame Emily Valentine, who has a burning idea how to win him back. The season ends with a dilly of a pickle as Brenda and Dylan rush off to Mexico to elope with Jim Walsh hot on their heels. A defining year for the show, this set contains pivotal moments in the 90210 history and the series stands the test of time as a classic television drama.
